Dan Mudge

Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Piano, Banjo, Mandolin/Mandola, Songwriting, Theory, Technique, Improvisation, Performance, Recording

Music has been Dan’s world from the very beginning. It started with piano, but once he picked up the guitar, there was no turning back. Mentored early on by guitarist Rob Hornfeck, Dan was playing and teaching professionally by age 17. Since then he's performed hundreds of shows, recorded on dozens of albums, and even shared stages with artists like Vince Welnick, Tony Levin, and Jefferson Starship. His lessons are fun, engaging, and fueled by his motto, “Practice everyday!”

Outside of teaching, Dan is a big Philadelphia Eagles fan, a lifelong Star Trek enthusiast, and a proud husband and father of three.

Chris’s musical path started in his childhood kitchen—pots and pans first, then violin in fourth grade. He later added guitar and piano to the mix, eventually earning a Bachelor’s in Music Composition from Shenandoah Conservatory. With experience in orchestras, choirs, and local bands across Maryland and Virginia, Chris believes learning should be fun and interactive—while still building the skills you need to succeed.

Away from the music stand, Chris is a proud dog dad of two, a devoted husband, a tattoo enthusiast, and a lifelong Star Wars fan.
